能力分析用于评估控制过程的能力。“有能力”的过程能够提供可满足规范的产品或服务。 

为能力分析设置数据 

在 Minitab 中执行能力分析的第一步是确保正确设置了数据。首先是在 Minitab 工作表的一列中设置测量数据。在我们的示例中，绝地委员会为我们提供了 80 个测量值，这些值是在 10 天内从新制作的光剑上采集的。这些测量值可以直接输入到 Minitab 中，也可以从 Microsoft Excel 甚至 SQL 数据库中导入。（如果您想知道我们如何获得如此精确的测量值，我来告诉您，使用 Force 进行测量会有所帮助！）

确定能力分析子组 

能力分析中的一个重要步骤是确定子组。子组是在同一组条件下生成的一组单元。理想情况下，它是一组在时间上接近但仍然彼此独立的测量值。在我们的示例中，不同的绝地人员对光剑每天测量一次，共测量 10 天，每个人测量 8 把光剑。在质量方面，我们有 10 个子组，每个子组有 8 个单位。 

以我与技术支持部门合作的经验而言，许多在能力分析方面遇到困难的呼叫者不熟悉子组大小这一概念，因此很快就忽略了它。不要忽略！数据收集方式对能力分析至关重要。 

为什么数据顺序在能力分析中很重要 

您应当始终确保在 Minitab 中按照数据收集顺序输入数据，并将每个条目分配到适当的子组中。分析所必需的计算取决于数据的顺序以及这些组的大小。因此，您不应当对数据进行排序。

要了解这为什么会产生问题，请考虑以下场景：您有两个分别由 5 个测量值组成的子组，一个包含排序数据，另一个包含未排序数据。如果您对数据进行排序，测量值分析结果中显示的变异看上去比子组中实际具有的变异少。因此，您的[Cpk](https://blog.minitab.com/blog/michelle-paret/process-capability-statistics-cpk-vs-ppk?hsLang=zh) 和其他值将被人为放大，使您的过程看上去比实际更有能力。千万不要掉入这个陷阱。 

我还注意到，做过的人输入不同的子组大小并选择一个能为他们提供最佳 Cpk 的参数或者他们感兴趣的参数。不用说，这是不合适的，如果子组的实际大小是 8，那么用包含 5 个测量值的子组来分析数据是不正确的。

## 创建子组列 

一旦我们确定了子组的大小并将数据以正确的顺序输入到 Minitab 中，就可以创建子组列。这将告知 Minitab，相应的测量值属于特定的子组。由于我们的数据是有序的，因此，我们知道工作表中的前 8 个观测值属于子组 1，接下来的 8 个观测值属于子组 2，以此类推。 

在 Minitab 中创建子组列相当简单。我们可以通过计算 > 生成模板数据 > 简单数集来进行创建。在我们的示例中，对话框将按如下方式填写：

当我们在该对话框中按确定时，Minitab 将创建一个从 1 到 10 的数字串来表示我们的数据在第几天收集。该对话框的填写方式还告知 Minitab 将每个值显示 8 次（表示每天测量 8 次），8 个测量值形成一个子组。 

一旦我们有了子组列，Minitab 工作表中的数据集应该如下所示：
